• Vendor Set-Up is 8:00 AM until 9:00 AM for all vendors.

• VENDOR FEES: $75.00 for the day, $250.00 for the week, or $900.00 for the month

Vendors Mall Philly (VMP) advertise thru e-mail lists*, mailing lists*, newspapers, online and social media. VMP will NOT ever sell or share our mailing lists with any outside business or agency.

1-DAY CANCELLATION NOTICE is required. Call our toll-free line and leave a voice mail at 888-396-3668 or send an e-mail to info@vendorsmallphilly.com.

DEADLINE is no less 24 hours before any scheduled business by 8 pm.

IF YOU CANCEL IN ADVANCE, we will issue a refund within 10 - 14 business days.

IF YOU DO NOT CANCEL IN ADVANCE Or, if you are marked as a NO SHOW, you are not entitled to a refund. If your electronic payment is returned for any reason and is not promptly paid, you may be banned from future shop registrations.

If you are selling prepared food, you submit a copy of your valid operating licenses at the beginning of your agreement. Phila Licenses & Inspections (L&I) requires that you display your original licenses during operating hours. You must have the following licenses to sell food within the City of Phila: (1) Business Privilege License (1x fee), (2) Sidewalk Vendor License, and (3) Food Handlers / Commissary License.

WHAT TO BRING & WHAT TO WEAR - Bring your own tables, folding chairs, paper or plastic bags for merchandise, a trash bag or box, and plenty of bottled water. If the weather is very hot, bring along a hat/visor, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Wear old clothes and comfortable shoes. Facemasks are required as well as social distancing measures.

WHEN TO START - Come out early. Some of your best sales may come from Early Birds or other vendors before the business even opens. Set up time is between 8 am – 9 am so you will want to avoid setting up during times when active customers are shopping.

​

HOW TO PRICE - Make sure all your items are clearly marked with a price tag.

​

DO NOT - make your customers ask for prices. If you are busy with another customer, you could lose a potential sale. Price your items to move. A true shopper loves to bargain! A price guideline is 10-15% of the original retail price except for antiques and collectibles.

​

NOTE: Bring at least $20 in $1s and $5s to get you started. Also, bring quarters if you plan to price anything under $1. An apron with deep pockets will serve as a good money holder. We are not required to provide change.

                                                ::::::VENDOR CONDUCT - NO SOLICITING * NO LOUD MUSIC * NO HAWKING :::::::::::

SOLICITING - Distribution and/or solicitation of political or religious materials or any service-type businesses are not permitted during any business hours. Beneficiaries are excluded from this policy and may use our Information Table.

LOUD MUSIC - Vendors may NOT play loud music at their assigned space. Music MUST be kept to a minimum so that your neighbor on either side of you cannot hear it. If you are warned twice in the same day to turn down your music, the 3rd time your radio/cd player will be taken from you and returned at the end of the market, or you will be asked to leave and will be informed NOT to return to any of our future markets!

 HAWKING (Yelling to Customers Walking By Your Booth - For Example: "Hey - Everything Is Negotiable or Buy 2 and Get The 3rd One Free" Is Not Allowed At The Market At any time!

Currently, we are actively working on providing our vendors with an exclusive parking option however at this time parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Vendor Mall Philly is not responsible for parking lot fees, parking tickets, and/or towed vehicles.

VMP will not rent, sell and/or share your information with third parties.

​

                                                 ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: RESERVATIONS (RESV) :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

All vendors must be available for the scheduled dates. DO NOT make a reservation if you have other commitments on your scheduled date. Reservations are processed in the order in which they are received. E-mail and/or phone reservations are NOT accepted without a valid payment.

DAMAGE/LOSS - VMP is not responsible for any damage and/or theft of property. Make sure that your vendor space is properly always staffed. We recommend you bring along someone to assist you at your vendor space.

LOST/MISDIRECTED MAIL – VMP is not responsible for lost and/or misdirected mail. Please make sure we have your correct regular or e-mail address.

PAYMENTS ACCEPTED - VMP accepts Credit and Debit Cards accepted for vendor space. Cash and exact payments made via money orders are only accepted for last-minute reservations or walk-ups on the day of the market (space permitting). Payments will only be accepted after the registration application is fully completed and required documentation is received.

PLACEMENT - To be placed next to a friend or another vendor you must specify this when you’re submitting your application. Two separate applications are required. Also, be sure and check your space assignments, and do not assume that you will always be in the exact same space as you were in previous markets.

RESERVATIONS - (1) Choose the dates you are available to attend (incl backup dates.) Do not submit multiple applications. If you must cancel, your payment can be applied to another available date if you follow our cancellation guidelines. (2) HELPFUL HINT: Send in your payments for your desired dates as soon as possible to reserve your space. Availability may vary.

SPACE ASSIGNMENTS - Spaces are approx. 10 Feet in Length x 10 Feet (parking space NOT incl). You will receive a map that will show the street and street number that your vendor space is located. After you receive your space assignments, be sure to keep this information for future reference.

NOTE - Due to the popularity of these markets and to accommodate everyone, you may not receive a space assignment for every market you are including in until the day of the market. If you do not receive a space assignment for any market or if you are placed on the waiting list and you will receive notification with the days that we may be able to accommodate your request.

SPECIAL REQUESTS - We will do our best to accommodate special requests. However, we do not guarantee that special requests will be honored (see Vendor App).

VENDOR SALES Vendors keep their individual sales. VMP does not guarantee vendor sales. Tables and Chairs are available for an additional fee. (see Helpful Hints).

WAITING LIST Payments will still be accepted after any market is sold out. If this happens, you will be placed on our Waiting List. If we receive a cancellation, we will contact you by e-mail and/or phone. If you are not placed, your payment will be applied for a different & your check will be shredded. Money Orders will be returned (see Cancellation Policy).

 If your payment is returned for any reason, you are liable for the associated fees as permitted by law. You are required to inform us if your account has been closed.

 We must approve and monitor the merchandise being sold by our vendors. Here is a brief list of items that are regulated by the Phila Police Dept (PPD). These items CANNOT be sold!

NO NEW OR HANDMADE MERCHANDISE IS ALLOWED AT OUR MARKETS AT ANY TIME

NO PRESCRIPTION OR ILLEGAL DRUGS OR DRUG PARAPHERNALIA Including, but not limited to containers, head shop items, pipes, rolling papers, or similar items.

NO WEAPONS OR WEAPON ACCESSORIES Including, but not limited to brass knuckles, guns (collectible, new and/or used), slingshots, or similar items.

OTHER RESTRICTED ITEMS Vendors Mall Philly absolutely restricts the sale of any form of merchandise that may be offensive to anyone such as Nazi paraphernalia, Neo Naza paraphernalia, and Black Americana. Also, bootleg audio/videotapes, bootleg CDs/DVDs, brand name counterfeit merchandise such as clothing, jewelry, handbags etc, fireworks, explosives or other hazardous materials, stolen merchandise, live animals including puppies, kittens, or any type of reptiles, turtles or fish are NOT permitted!

NO PORTABLE HEATERS - INDOOR MARKETS ONLY Vendors are not permitted to run portable heaters at their space during our Indoor Markets. This causes a strain on the building's power grid and trips circuit breakers which cause the building to lose power.

WARNING VMP Management reserves the right to have vendors remove items from their display which they feel are inappropriate. YOU ARE SUBJECT TO ARREST, FINES, AND/OR IMPRISONMENT IF YOU DISPLAY AND/OR SELL ILLEGAL ITEMS. MERCHANDISE COULD BE CONFISCATED BY THE PROPER AUTHORITIES.

                                              ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: SET UP, MARKET HOURS, CLOSING & CLEAN UP :::::::::::::::::::::::::

SET UP TIME 8 AM until 9 AM for all markets days.

All vendors must arrive by 8:15 AM. Failure to comply will result in losing your space assignments. NO exceptions. If you are late and you cannot be placed, you agree to forfeit your space assignment. Your payment will be processed as a donation.

MARKET DAYS: Tuesday’s – Sunday (closed on Mondays)

MARKET HOURS 10 AM until 8 PM.

All our VMP locations are in densely populated residential areas. Respect our neighbors by always keeping noise levels to a minimum. NO honking horns! NO loud radios! NO yelling!

CLOSING For all markets days

PLEASE DO NOT break down before 7:30 pm.

DO NOT leave before 8 pm.

CLEAN UP Vendors are required to leave their spaces clean. Trash cans and dumpsters are provided. Please bring your trash to the nearest trash can nearest your space.
